ABOUT THIS TOOL

What Image information checker helps you do

Find the actual width, height and byte size of a picture before submitting it. Source cards appear as soon as files are decoded, so you do not need to run a conversion just to inspect them.

How to use it

  1. Select or drop JPG, PNG or WebP files.
  2. Read the detected format, pixel dimensions and actual source size on each card.
  3. If needed, adjust the conversion options and create a separate output file.

Input and output example

INPUT
1,024 × 768 PNG; 153,600 bytes
OUTPUT
PNG · 1,024 × 768px · 150KB

Supported formats and limits

  • JPG, PNG and WebP. Up to 20 files per batch, 20MB per file and 80MB total. All file processing stays in your browser.
  • Each source and output image is limited to 24 megapixels and 12,000px on either side. The batch is limited to 80 megapixels. GIF, SVG and animated images are not supported.
  • Output does not retain EXIF, GPS, camera metadata or the original color profile. Canvas color conversion depends on your browser. Output files are limited to 100MB in total.

How the result is calculated

File size comes from the actual file bytes. Dimensions are read from the decoded image. File signatures identify JPG, PNG and WebP rather than relying solely on filename extensions.

Frequently asked questions

Does this show location or camera metadata?

No. It does not display EXIF, GPS or camera fields. Re-encoded outputs do not preserve that metadata.

Are selected pictures saved to an account?

No account is required. Files stay in the current browser session, and the tool releases its references when you reset or leave the page.
