Terms of use

1. Using the tools
The core tools on AZ Tools are free without an account. You may use them for personal, study, work, and commercial tasks. You must have the rights and authority to process files or content you provide.
2. Checking results
Check converted files and calculations before submitting or distributing them. Editing a PDF can invalidate signatures or lose forms, bookmarks, and attachments. Re-encoding an image can remove metadata and alter colors. OCR and portrait masks are estimates and need review. These tools do not replace professional legal, financial, medical, or other advice.
3. Supported scope
Some inputs cannot be processed because of file structure, browser support, or device resources. Each tool’s format limits and error messages define its support. Compression savings, a particular quality, search rankings, advertising approval, and revenue are not guaranteed.
4. Changes and availability
Tools may change or become unavailable for maintenance or compatibility reasons. Keep source and output copies. Do not intentionally overload the tools or infringe other people’s rights.
5. Software and operation
Third-party libraries retain their own open-source licenses. Input and output remain subject to their original rights. The operator must add their identity and contact details before public launch and review terms needed for their actual operation.
