- Each image becomes one page. JPGs with EXIF rotation or mirroring are normalized to match the preview and re-encoded at quality 0.95. Text inside an image remains an image; this tool does not include OCR.

How the result is calculated
A4 is 210 × 297mm, or about 595.28 × 841.89 PDF points. A4 output fits each image within 20pt margins while preserving its ratio. Original-size pages use 0.75pt per pixel, equivalent to 96DPI.
Frequently asked questions
What happens to transparent PNG areas?
The PDF preserves image transparency, but PDF viewers normally display a white page background.
Will text in my scan become searchable?
No. Images remain raster images. Searchable text requires OCR, which is outside this tool’s scope.
