What Business Days helps you do
Count Monday-to-Friday workdays for a schedule. Company closures or verified public holidays are excluded only when you enter their dates yourself.
How to use it
- Choose a start date, end date and boundary settings.
- Optionally enter one excluded date per line.
- Calculate workdays, excluded weekend days and additional excluded weekdays.
Input and output example
INPUT
2026-11-02 to 2026-11-06, both included; exclude 2026-11-04OUTPUT
4 business days · 1 additional excluded weekday
Supported formats and limits
- No automatic official public-holiday dataset is provided. Supported countries and years: none. Official dataset update date: not applicable.
- Only dates you enter are additionally excluded. Observed, substitute and one-off holidays are not added automatically.
- Maximum date difference: 3,660 days. Legal and contractual deadline rules may differ.
How the result is calculated
Dates are compared as UTC calendar dates, independently of time zones. A daylight-saving transition still counts as one calendar day. Count selected dates that fall Monday–Friday and are not in the entered exclusion set. A holiday on a weekend is not subtracted twice.
