ABOUT THIS TOOL

What World Time helps you do

Plan international meetings by seeing the local date and time in several cities at the same instant. The browser applies daylight-saving rules for the selected date.

How to use it

  1. Enter a date and time in UTC.
  2. Select the cities you want to compare.
  3. Review each local date, time and UTC offset.

Input and output example

INPUT
2026-11-06 00:00 UTC
OUTPUT
London: Nov 6, 00:00 / New York: Nov 5, 19:00 / Tokyo: Nov 6, 09:00

Supported formats and limits

  • The listed IANA city time zones are supported for input years 1900–2100.
  • Time-zone data comes from the installed browser via Intl/IANA. The browser does not expose its data version or update date.
  • Recent policy changes and outdated browsers may produce differences from current legal local time.

How the result is calculated

Format one UTC instant with Intl.DateTimeFormat and an IANA timeZone identifier. Daylight saving is applied for that instant. Data source: https://www.iana.org/time-zones

Frequently asked questions

Is the input interpreted as my local time?

No. The input is explicitly UTC. For example, 09:00 in Tokyo is 00:00 UTC on the same date.

When was the time-zone data updated?

It depends on your browser and operating-system updates. This page cannot read the exact database version and does not claim a specific update date.
